Privacy Policy

This policy explains what OmegleWebX collects and why, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

• Guest users: a random device ID stored in your browser, the gender you select, and the interests you type.
• Accounts: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (or your Google account ID if you sign in with Google).
• Country: the country of your network connection, used for matching and the Premium country filter. We don't store your precise location.
• Premium payments: your subscription status and Razorpay subscription/payment IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• Safety data: IP address, a hashed browser fingerprint, reports you make or receive, and the text chat of reported conversations.

What we do not collect

We do not record your video or voice calls. They are sent directly between you and the other person where possible. Nudity detection runs on your own device; frames are not uploaded.

Why we use it

• To match you with other users and run the service.
• To prevent abuse, enforce bans, and comply with law-enforcement requests required by law.
• To show ads (ad partners may use cookies; see their policies) and measure basic usage.

How long we keep it

Report records and chat logs are kept for up to 90 days, or longer if needed for a legal case. Bans are kept for as long as they are active. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. You can also contact our Grievance Officer.

Children

The service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process children's data and delete it when found.
